1.The Master of Architecture program aims to cultivate the major needs for national and economic and social development, master the basics of architecture and cutting-edge theories, research and practice methods, have superb engineering practice capabilities and noble professionalism, and be able to undertake complex professional skills or Management work, leading high-level innovative application talents in the professional field of architecture in the future. The MA in Architecture is a program that trains students to think, design and operate following a multidisciplinary approach towards the development of novel architectural solutions for the built environment. The program focuses on a deep understanding of the current environmental, societal and economic impact of architecture and construction and prepares students with skills to become visionary professionals and academics in the architectural discipline.

 

2.The MA in Urban and Rural Planning program aims to prepare the next generation of professionals that will redefine the planning and design of future cities and rural areas. The program seeks to discuss the existing unprecedented environmental, social and economic problems of our habitats and combine different methods and tools to develop intelligent, inclusive and ecological urban environments. Master’s degree students will be equipped with knowledge and skills for redefining public spaces, mobility, urban densification and urban/rural connections following principles of circular economy, participation and new urban metabolisms. Information and communication technologies, big data, nature-based solutions, circular economy or computational and environmental design are the tools and processes introduced through the seminars and design studios of the program. Master’s degree students are equipped to become change makers, able to work in city administrations, academies or develop their own firms and urban studios with a focus on future of cities.

 

3.The MA Design program equips students for a complex professional or scientific environment. It covers diverse fields and disciplines of design and focuses on research and innovation. Master’s degree students do more than just deepen and expand their technical knowledge and capabilities. They establish the foundations for their future careers in the industry, economy, for services or as part of a startup culture in the creative industries. It also prepares for a future international academic career. MA projects and course of study are both tailored to the individual student. Students can conduct experimentation and technical development of research topics through a variety of laboratories, workshops and media formats, providing a platform for international exchange in design, technology or innovation. To train senior designers, researchers, managers, consulting service personnel, academic research and creative work personnel for the design field.
